Scott started coding in elementary school before he even understood what programming was, making games and study guides on his TI-83 calculator. He programmed as a hobby throughout high school and a stint in the Army. He went to James Madison University and majored in International Affairs in his ultimately failed attempt at becoming a real life Jason Bourne. After moving to Portland from his home state of Virginia, he decided to program professionally and attended a web development bootcamp and has been a full-time programmer ever since.
When he’s not programming, you can find him doing yoga, drinking potentially hazardous levels of his home-roasted coffee, playing soccer, watching the Portland Timbers, or playing video games. You might also find him in a mosh pit or headbanging at a metal concert!
I urge you to please notice when you are happy, and exclaim or murmur or think at some point, "If this isn't nice, I don't know what is."
