Liz gets called in when a client needs to get their bearings. Sometimes that's an application inherited from another agency that nobody currently understands. Sometimes it's a project with enough stakeholders that the engineering conversation and the product conversation have stopped being the same conversation.

The work is figuring out what people actually need, which is often not what they asked for, and then finding the technical path that gets them there. Most of her projects have architectures with a lot of touch points, from multi-application ecosystems to greenfield builds that have to fit around vendor dependencies nobody gets to choose.

Her flagship project at Planet Argon is a six-application system for the Episcopal Church's General Convention, held once every three years and requiring years of preparation, with staff stakeholders who then train an army of volunteers to use what the team builds.

When she's not at her desk, Liz is in the backyard with her dog and her garden.
