Autumn Morgan

As Marketing Coordinator, Autumn is responsible for how Planet Argon shows up to the world. She runs the organization's writing and campaigns across multiple projects including Planet Argon, the Maintainable Podcast, the Ruby on Rails Community Survey, and Commit Goods, Planet Argon's shop for official open source merch that sends profits back to maintainers.

Most of the job is drawing out the team's experiences working on real projects, then shaping them for leaders deciding what to do about their own aging software. That's how those lessons get out of engineers' heads and find people facing the same problems.

Autumn's background in visual art means ideas get built, not just planned. What starts as a concept usually ends up as a finished campaign instead of living in a document nobody opens again.

Autumn lives in sunny Cozumel, so outside of work, she paints murals, runs a snail mail art club, and snorkels with her kids in the ocean.
