She / Her / Hers
Annie first arrived in Oregon, via the Biggest Little City in the World (Reno, Nevada), to attend the University of Portland. While working on her Marketing and Management degree, she landed her first favorite job, the University’s computer lab. It was there, amongst the most expert of users and the most beginner, she realized her passion to understand how each program worked to help every user.
Upon graduation, she spent the next six years in San Francisco building her web and design skills at a global asset management firm, and learning programs and code through the not-always-helpful “Help” button and lots of trial and error. In 2006, Annie returned to the Oregon that she loved and continued producing and designing marketing materials and websites, first at SOLV and later with the Oregon Wine Board.
When she’s not strategizing the best way to design a web application, Annie is viewing the world through the eyes of her toddler, frequenting the many parks or hikes in the area, or pretending that she knows how to garden.
A day without sunshine is like, you know, night.
